Today I had an audition for the NBC hit comedy Parks and Recreation! I read for the role of Paula.

New York Television Festival

I screened my web series Leaving Bliss at the New York Television Festival on Thursday and Friday night in Midtown Manhattan. The turnout was fantastic, and we had a wonderful reaction to our show.

This whole week at the festival has been fun and informative. We met some great contacts and some very talented filmmakers. Here are some pics from the event.

Today I was in New York for the opening of the New York Television Festival. My first order of business was to sit down for an interview with Jason Drew of AP-RED.com.

New York Television Festival!

I found out that Leaving Bliss has been chosen as a finalist for the New York Television Festival!



I am so honored and excited to be a part of this festival. Here's a little info about it, taken from their website:

"The NYTVF was founded in 2005 as the industry’s first recognized independent television festival, providing a platform to elevate the work of artists creating for the small screen. Held annually each fall in New York City, the birthplace of modern television, the Festival unites artists, executives, industry figures, and fans together in one forum to celebrate the medium and to help shape its future. Along with the Independent Pilot Competition, the Festival features panel discussions, premiere screenings, and other special events designed to honor television as an institution and as an art form." -From NYTVF.com

We will be in New York from September 21 - 27 to participate in the festival!

America's Next Top Super Spy

This weekend and next I'll be shooting some episodes of a new web series called America's Next Top Super Spy. It's directed by Maxime Brulein, and it should be a lot of fun. I'm playing Patience O'Owen, my character from Leaving Bliss, as she auditions for the role of a James Bond girl!

The Day Player

Today I met with Helenna Santos, the creator of the web series "The Day Player." We talked about a role that I'll be playing in the next episode of the series. I can't wait!
